THE GREATEST CALAMITY
For somebody to go to school for four or five years to come out without a degree or certificate is a calamity.
For somebody to marry and have the partner to be an enemy is a calamity.
For you to marry for many years without children and eventually gave birth to an enemy of your life is a calamity.
For somebody to build a mighty business and eventually the business collapse and for him to die a pauper is a calamity.
Looking at all these and many more cases, we can say that these are calamities but the greatest one is to be called a Christian, go to church, sacrifice your time, money and energy and eventually end up in hell is the greatest calamity.
This is happening and it will continue to happen until we wake up.
A “Christless-Christian” is an abomination to God, an absurdity and a wreckage of life.
When somebody calls himself a Christian and has no Christ in his life, he is like a bitter honey, a tasteless salt or a rotten apple. He is a disappointment to God, to his family, neighbours, to his community, his nation and alas to himself.
Matthew 5:13 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.
Salt renders food pleasant and palatable, and preserves from putrefaction. So Christians, by their lives and instructions, are to keep the world from entire moral corruption. By bringing down with their prayers, the blessing of God, and by their influence and example, they save the world from universal vice and crime.
Mark 9:50 Salt is good: but if the salt have lost his saltness, wherewith will ye season it? Have salt in yourselves, and have peace one with another.
Christians Are The Salt Of The Earth.
Today “Christless-Christians” have filled the pulpits and pews.
 A ‘Christian’ that can fight, abuse, insult is not a Christian that has Christ.
 A ‘Christian’ that can be angry, lie, or steal is not a Christian that has Christ.
 A ‘Christian’ whose yes is not yes, who can tell you one thing and mean another thing, does not have Christ.
2 Cor.13:5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?
Examine Yourself.
Where did you receive Christianity without the cross?
Where did you receive Christianity without the life of Christ?
 A kid resembles a goat
 A puppy resembles a dog.
 A kitten resembles a cat. Why then will a Christian not resemble Christ?
The word Christian means little Christ from the original Greek.
My friend, go back to Calvary and receive the reality of Christ so that you will not have eternal regret. You still have today to make all corrections and tomorrow may be forever too late.
Imagine if you die and see yourself in hell with thieves, murderers, kidnapers, harlots, ritual murderers and the rest of them, how will you feel when you know that it is forever?
Let us receive the reality and throw away the fake, the garbage or the deception we call Christianity and embrace the Christianity that Jesus brought
