THE HUSBAND OF THE CHURCH

Ephesians 5:25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;Christ is referred to as the husband of the church. This is something we are to picture in our mind as we use what we know to understand what we do not know.Let us see some analysis -;1. A good husband gives himself in sacrificial manner to the wife.2. A good husband deeply and genuinely loves his wife.3. A good husband is jealous over his wife.4. A good husband will never be happy with a wife that is running after other men.5. A good husband wants his wife to love him, respect him and be dedicated to him.6. The husband is lord over his wife as Jesus is Lord over the church.Now, see yourself as the wife of Jesus.1. Are you surrendered?2. Are you dedicated?3. Have you given your ALL to Him?4. A wife is to dress to please the husband, are you dressing to please Jesus?5. A husband should know the whereabouts of his wife, do you allow Jesus to practically monitor your life?6. Are you a faithful wife to Jesus your Husband?7. Are you obedient to Him in all areas of your life and being?8. The husband owns the wife from her head to her toes. Jesus owns you from your head to your toes. Look at yourself, if Jesus comes down physically right now, will you be happy to embrace Him?9. Wives love to be close to their husbands, how close are you to Jesus in your prayers and bible studies?10. Is there proper fellowship and communion between you and Jesus?Let us reexamine our lives in relationship to Jesus before it is too late.
