Joh 11:25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: 26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?
Jesus is the POWER of Resurrection. Wherever \Jesus entered, death normally runs away. Let us take some examples
Luke 7:11 And it came to pass the day after, that he went into a city called Nain; and many of his disciples went with him, and much people. 12 Now when he came nigh to the gate of the city, behold, there was a dead man carried out, the only son of his mother, and she was a widow: and much people of the city was with her. 13 And when the Lord saw her, he had compassion on her, and said unto her, Weep not. 14 And he came and touched the bier: and they that bare him stood still. And he said, Young man, I say unto thee, Arise. 15 And he that was dead sat up, and began to speak. And he delivered him to his mother.
Widow’s only son was dead and was brought back to life because they met Jesus as on the way to burial ground.
John 11:38 Jesus therefore again groaning in himself cometh to the grave. It was a cave, and a stone lay upon it. 39 Jesus said, Take ye away the stone. Martha, the sister of him that was dead, saith unto him, Lord, by this time he stinketh: for he hath been dead four days. 40 Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God? 41 Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me. 42 And I knew that thou hearest me always: but because of the people which stand by I said it, that they may believe that thou hast sent me. 43 And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth. 44 And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go.
Lazarus was dead and buried for four days but when Jesus got there, he was resurrected because the POWER of Resurrection had visited them.
Mar 5:35 While he yet spake, there came from the ruler of the synagogue’s house certain which said, Thy daughter is dead: why troublest thou the Master any further? 36 As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, he saith unto the ruler of the synagogue, Be not afraid, only believe. 37 And he suffered no man to follow him, save Peter, and James, and John the brother of James. 38 And he cometh to the house of the ruler of the synagogue, and seeth the tumult, and them that wept and wailed greatly. 39 And when he was come in, he saith unto them, Why make ye this ado, and weep? the damsel is not dead, but sleepeth. 40 And they laughed him to scorn. But when he had put them all out, he taketh the father and the mother of the damsel, and them that were with him, and entereth in where the damsel was lying. 41 And he took the damsel by the hand, and said unto her, Talitha cumi; which is, being interpreted, Damsel, I say unto thee, arise. 42 And straightway the damsel arose, and walked; for she was of the age of twelve years. And they were astonished with a great astonishment.
By the time Jesus entered Jairus house, they were already weeping and wailing for the girl. Jesus brought the girl back to life.
With these three examples, we can see that Jesus meant what He said – John 11:25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:
Just as He was, so He is and so He shall be forever.
Let us look at ourselves and see the areas where we need the visitation of Christ.
Jesus is still the POWER of Resurrection.
Do you know that when He was resurrecting the dead that He did not pray over the sicknesses that killed them.
The widow’s son, Jairus daughter, and Lazarus were all sick before they died but Jesus only commanded them to come back to life.
If you will believe and lay your hand on the areas of the dead or dying organs and let your Hands represent the hands of Jesus, then pray a believing prayer and command life to come back to those organs, it shall be so.
When wine finished in the wedding ceremony, because Jesus was there, He turned water into wine.
If your marriage is dead, divorce is not the solution, resurrection is the solution…
Remember the man that was sick for thirty-eight years, the day he met Jesus was the end of the problems in his life.
Tell that marriage that dry bones shall rise again and if you believe it fully, your marriage will resurrect.
Dead womb or sterile male organ.
All the women looking for children in the bible, when they came to God, they all gave birth even to super children.
Think about Sarah, Racheal, Manoah’s wife, Hannah and the rest of them all gave birth to special children that ruled the nations.
Your own cannot be different.
Remember the man with legions of demons, when he met Jesus, he became perfectly whole and his life became meaningful.
God created you for a purpose and that must be fulfilled.
Luke 5:4 Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught. 5 And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net. 6 And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake. 7 And they beckoned unto their partners, which were in the other ship, that they should come and help them. And they came, and filled both the ships, so that they began to sink.
Jesus is still the same.
For a fisherman to labour all through the night and cut nothing, what would he give to his wife and children?
Jesus brought abundant into his dead business.
Remember the widow woman –
Ki 4:1 Now there cried a certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets unto Elisha, saying, Thy servant my husband is dead; and thou knowest that thy servant did fear the LORD: and the creditor is come to take unto him my two sons to be bondmen. 2 And Elisha said unto her, What shall I do for thee? tell me, what hast thou in the house? And she said, Thine handmaid hath not any thing in the house, save a pot of oil. 3 Then he said, Go, borrow thee vessels abroad of all thy neighbours, even empty vessels; borrow not a few. 4 And when thou art come in, thou shalt shut the door upon thee and upon thy sons, and shalt pour out into all those vessels, and thou shalt set aside that which is full. 5 So she went from him, and shut the door upon her and upon her sons, who brought the vessels to her; and she poured out. 6 And it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said unto her son, Bring me yet a vessel. And he said unto her, There is not a vessel more. And the oil stayed. 7 Then she came and told the man of God. And he said, Go, sell the oil, and pay thy debt, and live thou and thy children of the rest.
Her finances and business were dead but resurrection came to her business life and her home.
We serve a living caring God.
Jesus is still the POWER of Resurrection. Remember that the manufacturer is the best repairer of any machine.
Dead destinies and visions
Some people’s destinies or visions are dead, for some of them, their destinies had been buried, exchanged, stolen or kept in the coven of darkness.
Jesus is the POWER of Resurrection.
Gen 21:15 And the water was spent in the bottle, and she cast the child under one of the shrubs. 16 And she went, and sat her down over against him a good way off, as it were a bowshot: for she said, Let me not see the death of the child. And she sat over against him, and lift up her voice, and wept. 17 And God heard the voice of the lad; and the angel of God called to Hagar out of heaven, and said unto her, What aileth thee, Hagar? fear not; for God hath heard the voice of the lad where he is. 18 Arise, lift up the lad, and hold him in thine hand; for I will make him a great nation. 19 And God opened her eyes, and she saw a well of water; and she went, and filled the bottle with water, and gave the lad drink.
Because of dead hope, Sarah’s maid moved away from the lad and expecting the boy to die but God who is the Resurrection and Life brought her hope back to life.
Jesus is still the hope of the hopeless.
Whatever situation you are or whatever condition you are going through, remember that Jesus is still the same.
Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.
Whatever Jesus had ever done, He can still do. Believe and trust Him and you will never be disappointed.
Go to Him now with faith and full assurance and you r resurrection is waiting for you.
