HELPING SERVANTS OF GOD

This is a great service to God. The ministers of Christ are representatives of Christ and therefore, whatever you do to them you are doing it to Christ.

The blessings of helping ministers of Christ are enormous.

We shall see some cases in the bible

Rahab Josh 2: 1-7; 6: 22-25

Rehab helped the servants of God and she and her household were saved for destruction and she also got a husband that put her in the genealogy of Christ Matt. 1: 5

The Widow of Zarephath 1Kings 17: 17 – 24

This woman readily provided for the man of God and God also provided for her and restored her son back to life.

The Shunammite woman 2Kings 4: 8 – 17, 32 – 36

The woman fed and provided accommodation for the man of God. She was healed of bareness and the child was later restored back to life.

Simon Peter Luke 5: 1-7

Peter who had laboured and got nothing later went home with bountiful harvest. This happened because he helped Jesus.

All these and many more examples in the bible show us that whoever help the minister of God will not go empty handed. In whatever situation you are, labour to help any man or woman working for God.
