WHY DO WE DELAY SOLUTIONS?
Torments and oppressions are not interesting but majority of us are used to it. We make little or no efforts in eradicating them. We offer little or no resistance to the oppressors and tormentors. Yet, God’s readiness is waiting –
Isa 49:24 Shall the prey be taken from the mighty, or the lawful captive delivered? 25 But thus saith the LORD, Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered: for I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I will save thy children. 26 And I will feed them that oppress thee with their own flesh; and they shall be drunken with their own blood, as with sweet wine: and all flesh shall know that I the LORD am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob.
We are the prey in the hand of the mighty, and the lawful captive. God says we shall be delivered and He will fight with those fighting with us and feed them with their flesh and blood. So, God is ready if we are ready.
Exo 23:22 But if thou shalt indeed obey his voice, and do all that I speak; then I will be an enemy unto thine enemies, and an adversary unto thine adversaries.
God will become an enemy of our enemies and that is what we need now.

WHY DO WE DELAY?

1. We are born into oppressions and torment
2. We see many people in such situations
3. We feel it is normal
4. We think that we cannot do anything
5. We feel the tormentors and oppressors are too strong for us to confront
6. We feel we are powerless and that we do not have the stamina to challenge.
7. We do not know or recognize the provisions of God and His promises
8. We do not know the readiness of God to fight for us.
9. When we pray a little and nothing happens, we are easily discouraged.

PROMISES OF GOD

Genesis 12:3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

Zechariah 2:8 For thus saith the LORD of hosts; After the glory hath he sent me unto the nations which spoiled you: for he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye.

ACTIONS NEEDED

1. Be fed-up
2. Be ready to pay the price
3. See your Saviour as big enough
4. Trust and rely on Jesus.
   Now is your time to pray and give God the chance to prove Himself great in your life. You have suffered enough, you have been under torture for a long time and Jesus has come to set you free.
