RELAX IN CHRIST.
Joh 14:1 “Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. 2 In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.”
Heb 13:5 “Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.6 So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.”
Things around can trouble us. The problems of the world can also trouble us.
Among the children of Jacob, none had problems like Joseph. So, we should not allow any trouble to disturbed us.
Hab 3:17 “Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls: 18 Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation. 19 The LORD God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds’ feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places. To the chief singer on my stringed instruments.”
Even though everything look upside down, still we should not be troubled.
With all the problems that Jesus went through, He was never troubled.
The promises of God should encourage us. He said “I will never leave thee”. So we should not be troubled whatever we are going through.
David moved away from being troubled to God before God could talk to him and that was when solution came because of those that carried their families away.
Isa 43:1 “But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine. 2 When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee 7 Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him.”
God expects us to relax in His hands
Mar 10:29 “And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel’s, 30 But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life.” He is able. Always remember that prayer brings solutions down.
John 16:33 “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”
Hebrews 12:2 “Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.”
Ephesians 6:18 “Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;”
With all that Joseph went through, he overcame.
With all that Joshua faced in the wilderness, he reached the Canaan Land.
With all that Saul planned against David, David still reigned.
With all the noise of Nebuchadnezzar, the three Hebrew children could not be burnt by his fire.
Why wont you relax in the hands of the Almighty God?
Has He ever disappointed somebody in the past?
Is He not there for you?
RELAX IN CHRIST.
